BIOGRAPHY

I’m a graphic designer with the heart of a painter. My paintings are deeply personal being rooted in my own experiences of struggles and healing process of the Black community. I paint a diversity of subjects focusing on the mental health, the beauty, and resilience of people of the African descent. My design work captures the personality and cultural identity for underrepresented businesses amplifying their voices to leave a lasting impression.

 

I use both practices in my creative process. My design skills help me map out compositions, refine colors, and structure ideas before bringing them to life. In return, my painting skills carries into my branding design work, allowing me to design intuitively with a creative flair, while still maintaining precision. 

 

Together, graphic design and painting blesses me with the art of storytelling- whether I’m pitching a logo that captures a brand’s essence or creating a painting that resonates with the viewer.
